A quick progress update:
So far I have completed the flippy skirt (Marfy 1931) and it is very flippy. I am most impressed. It took ten minutes to drive around that hem with the machine so I dread to think how long it would have taken if I'd sewn it by hand. This skirt will be going into both the Mini wardrobe and the WiaW.
Today I completed two tops; one of which is going into the WiaW. Both are navy rib knit turtle necks with long sleeves. One has wide cuffs, the result of a fabric shortage, the other just has ordinary sleeves with no cuffs. I actually like the wide cuffs very much and am considering drafting these as a permanent addition to the pattern variations. The pattern is self drafted and I've added several options to it as I've gone along and inspiration has struck me.
The second skirt is underway with the lining completed and ready to be put in. The skirt itself is still in pieces though.
Tomorrow afternoon I will hopefully get the second WiaW top made and try to get a bit further with the second skirt; which is going into both the Mini Wardrobe and the WiaW.
Photos won't be posted here until later in the week, as I want to finish all the pieces and photograph them as outfits.
