I stalked the Marfy site every hour of every day this week (and last week, and slightly less frequently the week before). I checked my E Mails obsessively for three weeks hoping for news. And finally, at lunchtime today my (im)patience was rewarded. I clicked on the site, and there it was…. The cover of the new 2010 Marfy catalogue, shiny, lovely, and available for Pre-Order in English (it was up in Italian last night). I could almost smell the scent of those lovely new, shiny pages. I could feel the excitement of opening the catalogue for the first time. And with undue haste, I clicked on the shopping cart and speedily placed my order. The catalogues don’t even get dispatched until 15 January, and I have chosen the cheap postage option since the Euro is not great against the pound this year. But still, I am excited and grinning. Imagine the state I will be in when the catalogue finally plops onto my desk in late January. I can’t take the risk of the postman failing to understand the importance of this package and taking it back to the depot to wait, cold and alone, for me to collect it. Or worse, attempting to shoe horn it through the letter box and bending or damaging it in the process. So it will be sent to work where I can ensure it is treated with proper dignity.
I am still waiting to see what the free patterns will be since the links to those aren’t currently working.

And now your entire SWAP plan is in peril, becuase there will be 3 or 4 things you just cannot live without!
I just read the description, they say that they are drawing from the 80's. It sounds like there should be some interesting jackets and shirts. I am trying to not check for the free patterns every hour!
Ah, but you won't get any work done the rest of that day will you? Oh, right, sorry, that was part of the plan ;-). Like hiding your comic in a school book, have you got a Marfy sized health and safety document to be seen reading!?
