SWAP photos

The photos of all the collections submitted in the Stitchers Guild SWAP are now posted on a link from the site. I'm not sure if its OK to post that link, so I haven't done so. But this is a link to the site where the link lives. Which it hopefully is OK to post. http://artisanssquare.com/
The photos are on the SWAP thread. There are fourteen collections, from twelve seamstresses. Two clever people made two collections in the four months which is a truly awesome achievement. I am uncomfortable with the idea that people might think I was mentioning the SWAP just because my outfits are in it and nearly didn't post this blog entry as a result. However, I wanted to let people know where they could look at the other collections and hopefully find as much inspiration as I did from those collections. Almost all the collections presented had something in them which I would dearly love to be able to make, or an idea I wish I had thought of myself. The embellishment and unusual closures requirement resulted in a lot of really exciting ideas, and there are some wonderful garments on display. My voting short list is still only down to nine collections, and I can only vote for three; first, second and third place. Its so hard to pick the top three from such impressive entries and as always I am struggling to decide what criteria to apply to whittle down the list. Its a good job there is a week in which to vote, because I am having such a hard time deciding.
