There isn't much that I can say about this pattern that has not already been said by me and many other people. The pattern is one I've perfected and made enough that the pattern needs stabilising soon lest it drop apart, and the alterations I made originally are lost in the mists of time. Notable points for these are that although both blue pairs were made from the same fabric, cut out at the same time, using the same pattern, and sewn with the same thread, seam allowances etc on the same machine, one pair fits tighter than the other. The only other difference between them is the pocket and waistband linings, and the top stitching colour, as I chose the same embroidery design for the pockets of both pairs. So we have one pair with variagated shades of green, purple, blue and pink thread and pink and purple cotton pocket and waistband lining. And one pair with aqua and pale teal stitching and a mad lining of teal, purple and green quilting fabric.
Both pairs of blue jeans are for my SWAP. One pair each for two of the three 3PACSs required.
The black jeans are not for SWAP but I figured that whilst I was making two pairs, I might as well make all of them at once. I had enough of the black denim left to make a skirt as well and have a possible pattern in mind for that. Though I have other items in the queue ahead of it, particularly as it would be a spring/summer skirt and its definitely warm clothes, thick coats and scarves weather at present.
Also shown are the close up shots of one of the pairs of black jeans which have white top stitching with white and red back pocket lines and a black and white print waistband facing. The second pair of black jeans have pink and purple stitching with a black and pink floral print lining but although I was sure I'd taken a shot of that, I can't actually find it to upload.
