OK. As promised/threatened, the photos of the finished shorts. Despite their flaws, I still love the pattern and think its quite cute. Definitely a keeper pattern. As for this particular pair.... well they will make a good pair of garden shorts, and the weeds won't care about the topstitching, they will be too busy trying to avoid my trowel won't they?
