Trenchcoat lining

I was asked by Birgitte to show the lining of the trenchcoat, so this pic is for you. And of course anyone else who might actually read the blog. I still can't quite get over the idea that someone might actually want to read about my sewing adventures and was absolutely thrilled to find I had a comment and was being added to a feed.
I had hoped to be able to post pictures of the progress of my latest Marfy skirt, but sadly its been one of those days where errands had to be run and time ran away from me... no sewing got done at all.
I did, however, rip out my knitting yet again. The first time I ripped it, I had decided the pattern had been wrong. Then today I realised it wasn't wrong after all (and after I'd knitted the whole section over again) so had to pull it all out again. Well, at least I was able to consolidate my knowledge of picking up stitches.

Thank you :)) The lining is just perfect. And keep reading and leaving comments on other people's blog and they'll soon discover yours :))

And about the knitting; been there too many times...

Hi Jenni, popped over from Birgitte's blog. Great coat. I think you need to rename it :))

I agree with Vicki, it is such a great looking coat now that it needs a more friendly name!

I really like your coat. One of these days I'll tackle a trench. There are so many good patterns out there (Especially the BWOF.) You may have had a lot of struggles with this, but the end result is beautiful. Also, thank you for the award :-)
