Since the blog is mainly to be used for keeping track of my ever increasing list of sewing and knitting projects, I may as well start as I mean to go on, with photos of the latest project. Introducing, Marfy 1751, aka The Coat of Doom. Quite a few things went wrong with this but in the end, I think the coat is growing on me. It maybe needs a bit more curing time before I will want to wear it, but I can see it being a very useful coat. Always assuming it does turn out to be waterproof of course. In Yorkshire, it normally rains fairly often at this time of year... so far, no rain to test the coat in. Not that I really want it to rain but it seems typical that I finish a raincoat and the weather improves.
I was going to show photos of the lovely spotted lining, but the camera battery died so I will have to add those later. If you want to know more about the construction of the coat, there is a link to my review on Pattern Review in the magical widget to the right of the screen.
