Romy by Fallmasche

This is my third version of this pattern I think and I'm really pleased with how this version is working out.  Its been a challenge because the gauge I'm getting and the gauge of the pattern are not the same.   And the gauge for the different yarns aren't the same either.  Just to make for some fun maths.  So its been a bit trial and error, try on as you go, but so far its looking very promising.  The ability to adjust as you go along is one of the things I love most about contiguous designs, which this one is, and other top down designs.  Plus I hate seaming knits and will do anything to avoid that.

The black yarn is some Jaeger Merino Aran left over from a sweater... a sweater I wore so much that it became too disreputable to be seen in public, and has been retired.  Soft, warm but not massively hard wearing, it pilled quite a bit.  The pink is Auracania Aysen, which was a gift from a friend and is quite a soft spun yarn so likely to pill equally as much as the black I would guess but lovely and soft for a collar against the neck because it contains cashmere.    Both yarns are very much discontinued so yarn quantity will certainly dictate both overall garment length and body/ribbing lengths.
