SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

My lovely, lovely boss went to Rome last week on holiday and brought me back the Marfy catalogue!!!!!!!!
There are some fabulous patterns this year and I was spoiled for choice. Very little house or craft activity has taken place since the catalogue arrived but I have whittled down Monday's list of 37 possible patterns to only 14. :) I am sure I will change my mind about some of them a few times, but one coat and two dresses are almost certainly going to be coming to live with me.
The free patterns were more interesting than they had initially appeared when first posted on the site and I will definitely make up a number of them.
I won't be making the cape, or the shoulder pleat detail top. The top is fabulous but not suited to the climate around here, or to the places I go, and I have a much nicer cape pattern should I have an urge to make a cape. I am not sure whether I like the full skirt or not. All the other patterns will get made at some point.
The top with the cowl and wide sleeves is more fabulous than the picture shows because that cowl is actually a hood. I have the fabric for this one and its currently sat at the top of the list of things to do, once the coat is finished. Here it is with the hood up being worn with a fabulous egg coat that isn't free and won't be joining my household (because its not practical, not because it isn't beautiful).
The jacket is a useful basic and I don't actually have a jacket in that style, so that will get made at some point. The back detailing on the skirt that accompanies the jacket is rather fine and this will definitely be made, though not until the autumn. The narrow trousers might get made for summer if I find the right fabric.
In the catalogue, the camisole/straight skirt is on the same page as a dress which is similar but has a more complicated pleat arrangement. I may have a stab at making the top/skirt combo into a dress if we have a super hot summer. I am reasonably sure I'll make the camisole itself though.

SweeeeeT
I knew you would love it. I can't wait to see what you get. You must let us know what patterns make the final cut

I envy being able to make the coats, but I dont' want the weather that you would have to wear them in.

Fantastic! Glad you are enjoying it so much. It'll be cool to see the pieces you make.
