One down, one to go

And she is coming down the home straight, and over the heel and up the leg she goes.

And she's up to the ribbing and verily it goes most slowly at this stage.
But wait, tis done.
And its on to the stretchy cast off before heading down the home straight again for the heel closure.
Oh, and she's fallen at the heel closure.
The lifeline was too thin and all the stitches have run down to the next round.
And she retires for a short time for a pit stop and chocolate break before she's off and fighting that pesky lifeline.
And she's up and off again and storming through the three needle bind off. And you would never know it was her first ever attempt at the three needle bind off.
And in record time...
The sock is done.


But wait, she hasn't stopped. She's going around again, without a break. Nary a pit stop in sight as she reaches into the sock bag, kindly provided by Peppermint Penguin, for yet more yarn.

And the toe is cast on...
Oh no, its fallen off again.

Oh no, its got a hole in it and she has had to pull out again.

But she's off again, what a trouper, and ...

YES, this time the toe is done

And she's on three needles again and she's off, up the toe.
And, oh, I don't believe this...
This must be a record, she's storming up the foot at a huge rate. This has to be a personal best for Jenni as she flies up the foot of her sock with steam coming off her DPN's.

No pictures yet folks, the batteries have died in the camera. But the first sock fits very snugly indeed. The leg might be a tad tight but I had some problems with picking the stitches up and having watched the video on You Tube I can now see where the first one went wrong and hopefully the second will be a bit better finished and maybe fit slightly better.
