Here are the free Marfy patterns for 2011/12. Published at last on the website. After frenzied stalking of the site, and much anticipation, in the end none of these patterns leapt out and insisted I make them, which is unusual.
The dress is lovely, but I suspect I would have trouble fitting that bodice around my particular figure challenges, although I may try, as it does have the princess seams that I love so much as well as a slightly flared skirt that would probably flatter me more than the sheath dress I attempted last summer. If I did bite the bullet and make this, it would probably be in red linen look with a black lace overlay.
I like the floral top very much but its a garment for the life I would like, rather than for the life I actually have so is unlikely to get made.
The white top with the ruffle seems a practical option, particularly in jersey, for summer.
I like the hem detail on the brown skirt.
But, if I am totally honest, I was a bit disappointed. Which is not a word I usually associate with Marfy.
I would be interested in other's views on these patterns.
Do any of the patterns call to you?

Oh my, I think it's different strokes for different folks. If I had become confident in Marfy patterns this time last year, I would have wanted to make all, I mean every garment displayed. Alas, I spent a lot of time, too many muslins to desire a rematch.
I must admit, I got my catalog yesterday! They delivered it to my house instead of my office so I developed a sudden illness >-)
I like the white ruffle top, but the rest I can pass on. From my experience, their free pattern don't have the design details and they aren't as fitted as their others.
I will have to post pictures of the ones that I ordered this morning! I don't think you will be disappointed in the full catalog.
