Another foundation pieced block, this time from "50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Stars" by Carol Doak. I do have a weakness for star blocks and this book in particular, which I've had for a while. I had intended to make a quilt using just one of the stars, across the entire quilt, but I've never been able to settle on which block to do as they are all fabulous. You may well see more from this book as I'm considering making my next quilt entirely from this book. Anyhow, this one is a 12 inch block called Ohio Star; all the stars are named for different US states and it took me several days to decide between Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming.
Really pleased with how this one came out and I really love the black and white paisley fabric I used for the star against the pale pink. Once again, this IS pale pink... not mucky lemon as it appears to be in the photo.
Only one more block to do now and I'll have them all and can play with the placement (always a fun, if time-consuming activity).

wow looks great (still like the celtic knot one best)
I don't know Ruthie, this one is really cool in the black and white. I can't wait to see the whole quilt.
