Monkey a Month - April

This was originally going to be a shawl, in laceweight.  But I have lots of things I want to do right now, and the shawl would just be one thing too many in a busy schedule.  So this month's monkey challenge is a minimum of 2 sections  of the blanket to be completed by the end of the month.  I already finished off one section this weekend as well as dying some brown wool into different colours.  Just enough of each for one hexagon... if I weighed the wool out right.

This fits the original purpose of the challenge, which was to knit down some of my stash.... as does the fact that I read the diagram I made for the blanket wrongly and added an extra row.... rather than take it out I will just make the blanket a bit bigger. I seem to have plenty of wool so this should not be a problem.  It is great TV knitting and each hex takes between 1 and 2 hours to knit.... depending on the amount of interest I have in the TV programme.
