it's Marfy time!!!!!!!!!!

It's out, it's out... and it has 20 free patterns!!!!!  Yes... TWENTY.  Apparently in quite a few sizes.
If the free patterns are anything to go by, this should be a good catalogue..

The catalogue starts shipping on 15 January though I won't get mine till the following week as I chose cheapskate shipping.

And here are the free patterns.    In the first set I love the cream dress with coloured trim.  I think if I could only make one pattern from the set, this would be it.  The tweed jacket looks nice too.  The blue dress may be a possibility too.

In the second set, although I love the look of the spotted dress, I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it as is, but it has possibilities for alteration or as part of a frankenpattern experiment.  I can't see enough of the yellow dress to be sure but it looks very wearable.  The dress in the middle is a definite contender, the cross over top maybe, it looks a bit low cut.  The pink top and leggings/trousers at the end are very interesting.  I may well attempt the top in some linen I have in stash. I like that its longer at the back as I love to wear leggings but don't have any tops suitable to wear with them in summer.

In the third set, the black and yellow dress is quite interesting, and the two colour top also.  If the first outfit is a culottes pattern then I will be making those for summer for sure.  The last top on the end, the peachy brown one, may be a contender as well.

Of course, every year I say I'll make them.. and every year I make maybe one, or two of them... but its fun to plan isn't it?

I quite like the yellow shift dress, though as you say, hard to see the details. How are you going to wait until late January?

Love the pink tops, all 3 of them. The free patterns really represent the Marfy style this year, they have been kind of generic in the past. I can really see myself making a couple of these.
ironically, I got a hankering for a cape and decided to trace the one from the last catalog and its my first free pattern in a couple of years.
