There are doughnuts....

And then there are Krispy Kreme doughnuts.......

I went to Ikea today to get the baskets which I forgot last time. I came back with four fleece throws which I couldn't make for that price, the baskets, a new toy basket for the dog, yet more plastic bags for yarn (and doughnuts) to live in, and a glass and metal lantern that holds scented tea lights together with some vanilla and cinnamon scented candles to go in it. MMMMMmmmmm. I can't resist the scent of vanilla and cinnamon.

On the way to Ikea we passed Krispy Kreme doughnuts and felt that we should try these supposedly excellent confections. I should point out that I didn't eat all those myself. Half the box was mum's and her share had been removed from the box when I took the photo. We have frozen most of them as the lady in the store said they would freeze fine and two doughnuts in one day is sufficient even when they are doughnuts of such heavenly scrumptiousness. Totally 1000% better than any doughnut I've ever had from a UK high street store. We chose six different flavours and so far none have disappointed. I have one still out for my dessert tomorrow and am hoping the others survive their stint in the freezer so I can eat them next week to cheer myself up when I am back at work.
