In addition, I have a shawlette on the go.... Hitchhiker by Strickmich. Again not much to see... its actually a bit bigger than this now but its too dark to take a new photo successfully.
I've also started some sewing today. Only a dressing gown, but its a start at least. I can't really put up a picture of that yet as its cut out but not started on. The fleece I am using was a bit thinner than I remembered it being but I had actually bought much more than I needed, so I am planning to make two gowns, put one inside the other, wrong sides together, turn the edge of each garment in, pin them together and sew around the entire outside edge of the garment. This will either work very well or will result in a hideous mess of raspberry fleece, and a lot of swearing. We shall see which it is in due course.
If it works, I think it will be rather cosy and will match my favourite bright pink Ugg style boots... bought from Primark for the princely sum of £5. I think they are actually sold as outdoor shoes.. indeed I saw a teenage girl the other week wearing them with leggings of the same bright eye searing pink and they looked very good. I think if I wore them outdoors though, people would be more likely to conclude I was a batty old thing who came out without remembering to change out of her slippers. Being nominally outdoor shoes, they are fabulously useful when dogs need chasing in from the garden and being boots they prevent slug ingress. If you've ever had a slug in your slipper at 2am you will know why this is important (and possibly even if you have never experienced such a thing).

Hope the dressing gown works out well, and the yarn for those projects looks great!
